Trusting Him

What a powerful image!

It is so incredibly hard to be open to what “God has for you” when you’re still potentially holding on to or wishing for what God may not have for you… Sometimes we do this without fully realizing what we’re doing. We selfishly want one thing for whatever reason and don’t realize that God has something bigger and better in store.

Lord, knowing my heart, put me in the presence of what You have designated for me.

Let me realize what it is that I do not need in my life and make my peace with parting ways with that no matter the heartbreak that I think it may bring.

Let me move forward so that I can walk into Your glory.

Let me trust in You like I never have before and like my life depends on it, because ultimately, it does.
