I am probably one of the most flip flopping workout planners ever. I haven’t quite figured how to workout despite the demands of my schedule, the problems in my life, and the urge to not work out. I don’t get home until after 7pm on most nights and with the sun setting in West L.A., I don’t always want to go for a run in the cool yet beautiful night. Recently I had been running on the track at UCLA and hitting the stairs or working out in their gym. Call me a germaphobe but how do you sweat all over machinery and not clean it. I guess I’m just used to more bourgeoise gyms. I’ve finally decided to put an app that’s been taking up space on my phone for about 6 months. That app is the Nike Training Club app. It’s like a personal trainer or even like a mini P90x but for free. The workouts are intense 30-45 minute routines with adequate muscle confusion. There are focus workouts that are only 15 minutes that focus on one are of the body if you desire. The beau and I have done 2 days of it so far, and being that he’s an avid good health and fitness freak, his approval of a routine means a lot. I don’t know how long I will keep up this routine… I’m actually supposed to be doing it tonight but have comfortably found a spot wrapped in a blanket on the sofa. Lol. We’ll see what happens. I guess it’s like Nike says, “Just Do It”.
